Ritual Spellcasting Tools and Ingredients
YOU WILL NEED
- A symbol or image representing Venus. You can draw the symbol of Venus on a piece of paper.
- A pair of scales statue, image or drawing symbolising the zodiacal sign Libra. You can draw the symbol Libra on a piece of paper.
- The number 7, symbolising the 7th mansion of life. You can draw the number 7 on a piece of paper.
- Incense
- 2 x pink or green tea light candles for love, harmony and beauty (preferred magickal choice or you can use a white tea light candle)
- Anointing oil
- Cup or chalice with water in it
- Crystals like rose quartz for love and beauty (preferred magickal choice or you can use clear quartz crystal).
- Herbs or plants associated with Venus and Libra such as rose petals, geranium, violets.

SETTING UP
Spellcasting Steps
CASTING THE SPELL
STEP 1:
CLEAR THE SPACE
Clear your personal or ritual spellcasting space by your preferred means. If using Porta Alchémica® Holy Water simply sprinkle the perimeter of the space and say:
“I clear and sanctify with this holy water.“
STEP 2:
AFFIRM YOUR RITUAL SPELL INTENT
MY RITUAL SPELL INTENT IS
“I am attracting love and harmonious relationships.”
STEP 3:
BURN THE INCENSE
Burn your selected incense. If using Porta Alchémica® Venus Holy Smoke Ritual Incense, put a pinch of incense on the glowing charcoal. Say:
"I adjust to the frequency of love and harmonious relationships"
STEP 4:
ANOINT YOURSELF
Anoint your third eye chakra and wrists with your selected anointing oil. If using Porta Alchémica® Venus and/or Libra anointing oils, place the oils in a triangle pattern on your inner wrists. Rub the inner wrists together. Using your right index finger, touch the anointing oil on your left wrist and anoint your third eye chakra by touching your forehead with your finger. Say:
"I attune to the frequency of love and harmonious relationships"
STEP 5:
ANOINT THE CANDLES
Anoint the two pink or green tea light candles with a small amount of your selected anointing oil, using your right index finger, touch the anointing oil on your left wrist and then touch the candles. Say:
"I attune to the frequency of love and harmonious relationships"
STEP 6:
RITUAL SPELL INVOCATION
Venus' Healing Light
Begin by invoking Venus, inviting the powers of love, harmony and beauty into your life. Say:
“Venus, bestower of great beauty and love,
Bring to me my heart’s purest desire
For harmony, affection, and loving connection.”
Then with your magickal breath blow into the air in front of you.
Invoke the spirit of Libra, asking for ever-increasing balance, cooperation, and harmony in your relationships. Say:
“Libra, keeper of balance,
As I dance the dance of friend, partner, lover,
May I see my own beauty in the eyes of another.
Cooperating in life, let harmony reign,
In all my relationships on this earthly plane.”
Then with your magickal breath blow into the air in front of you.
Acknowledge the seventh house, focusing on partnership and one-to-one relationships with significant others. Say:
“House of Relating, 7th Mansion,
In my hands I hold the keys to experiencing
true love and relating.
Working together and co-creating,
With this invocation, I draw blessings to me
In all my relationships may there harmony be!”
Then with your magickal breath blow into the air in front of you.
STEP 7:
RITUAL LIBATION
To enhance your magickal alignment with the power and energetic frequency of Venus, Libra and the 7th Mansion of Life:
Add three drops of each Porta Alchémica® Venus Planetary Elixir, Libra Zodiacal Elixir and 7th Mansion of Life Elixir into the chalice or cup of pure spring water before drinking the potentised water. Say:
"I align with the frequency of love and harmonious relationships"
STEP 8:
ENERGISE
To further energise your ritual spell, pick up the three pieces of paper with the written symbols of Venus, Libra and 7th Mansion of Life, or the three Celestial Compendium Cards – Venus, Libra and 7th Mansion of Life and with your magickal breath blow on them.
STEP 9:
RITUAL SPELL ENCHANTMENT
Say:
“Three times three is nine
What I have enchanted now is mine!"
STEP 10:
MEDITATE
Take a few moments to meditate on the interconnection of the energies, visualising a healing and expansive light surrounding you.
STEP 11:
VISUALISE
Visualise or imagine your intention for love and harmonious relationships manifesting.
Imagine your heart expanding or growing larger and larger filling with a warm pink golden light and moving outwards from you into the universe.
Then imagine an expanded heart moving towards you and draw it into your own heart, filling it with love and glowing brilliant warm pink golden light.
STEP 12:
LIGHT THE CANDLES
Light the candles, seeing them as beacons attracting love, harmony and beauty into your life and relationships. Say:
"I light the flame of love and harmonious relationships"
STEP 13:
CLOSE THE RITUAL SPELL
Give thanks to Venus, Libra, and the energies of the 7th Mansion of Life.
Allow the tea light candles to burn down safely, releasing your intentions.
Breath in and imagine your aura filled with the colours of pink and/or green.
If using Porta Alchémica® Aura Mist spray the mist three times in the shape of a triangle; above the head, then above the right and left shoulder to lock in the magickal intent.
POST-SPELL PRACTICE:
- Regularly meditate on the themes of the ritual spell.
